SEAN MATTHEWS
Performer, Teacher & Theatre Maker

Sean is a theatre maker, performer and acting and movement teacher specialising in physical theatre, mime and clown. After graduating with a first class honours at the University of Winchester, he then went on to complete the two year Professional Acting Course at The Jacques LeCoq School in Paris.
Sean is a London based actor with a period RP appearance and voice and a French speaker. He has performed in radio, film, commercials, interactive and immersive theatre, street theatre, community focused outdoor events and is currently writing and devising his own theatre show.
Credits include: Hampstead Theatre, Eurosport, Talkback Thames, The National Lottery, Rhum and Clay Theatre Company and Wireless Theatre Company.
Sean has a major interest in designing and delivering workshops on LeCoq and Philippe Gaulier’s pedagogy of Clowning and ‘The Art of Play’. Through his teaching experience, he has also delivered classes on Character, The Chorus, Bouffon, and Story Telling with Gestural Language.
Sean is co-founder and co-host of comedy film podcast The Last Ten Minutes.
